BARDAVON ANNOUNCES 2009-2010 SEASON
At the Bardavon in Poughkeepsie & UPAC in Kingston
(Poughkeepsie, NY)-- The Bardavon is pleased to announce its complete 2009-2010 season of performances at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie and the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) in Kingston. This is the Bardavon's fourth full season presenting performances at both theaters since the Bardavon took over management of the Kingston venue in May, 2006. This season promises to be an especially rich and lively one. There will be diverse international music, theatre, dance, comedy and film plus challenging new shows in our Daytime Performance Series, the exciting Hudson Valley Philharmonic (HVP) symphonic season, plus the launch of the Metropolitan Opera's innovative: MET OPERA-Live in HD at both Bardavon and UPAC!

Returning and new rental organizations also dot the 2009-2010 season. At the Bardavon they include dance with the Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre and the Marist College Spring Concert. At UPAC audiences will also enjoy dance with the Ulster Ballet Company, Catskill Ballet Theatre, Rhinebeck Dance Center, Saugerties Ballet Center and The New York Conservatory for the Arts.
