(Poughkeepsie, NY) The Bardavon and UPAC are partnering with Cee Cee's Free Food Pantry and the First Congregational Church in Poughkeepsie and Queens Galley in Kingston to help feed local families for the holidays.

Beginning this Friday, the Bardavon will be accepting non-perishable food items that will ultimately go to Cee Cee's Free Food Pantry located at 337 Mansion Street in Poughkeepsie. Throughout most of November, people are encouraged to drop off non perishable food items at the box office lobby located at 35 Market Street in Poughkeepsie. Not only will people be able to bring food items when they attend performances but they can also bring donations during Bardavon box office hours (11am - 5pm Tuesday through Friday). Donations are also being accepted at First Congregational Church located at 269 Mill Street in Poughkeepsie.

UPAC in Kingston, located at 601 Broadway will be collecting non perishable food items as well as paper/cleaning products (soap, detergent, toilet paper, etc.) to be distributed to the community via Queens Galley located at 254 Washington Ave, a not for profit organization providing relief, awareness, education and prevention of food insecurity in Kingston, NY. UPAC attendees will be able to bring food items when they attend performances as well as during UPAC box office hours (11am - 5pm Wednesday through Friday).

Patrons attending upcoming performances at UPAC and the Bardavon are encouraged to bring donations.

Shows at the Bardavon include -- The Birds (10/30), the Hudson Valley Philharmonic (11/7), The Godfather Pt 2 (11/13) Metropolitan Opera Live in HD- Turandot (11/14), Pigeon Party (11/17), Matinees and Music (11/19).

Shows at UPAC include Jackson Browne (11/6), Lisa Williams (11/14), Lyle Lovett and his Large Band (11/15), Pigeon Party (11/18), Star Trek the Motion Picture (11/20).
